As a Project Buyer (d/f/m) in Hamburg, you will take on a responsible purchasing function in the area of cabin interiors. The focus is on procurement, supplier management, and contract management along the entire supply chain. This position is suitable for junior candidates (m/f/d).

Your Tasks:

  • You will participate in procurement planning and the selection of suitable suppliers for galleys and catering equipment.
  • You will accompany tenders, compare offers, and support cost analyses to prepare economic purchasing decisions.
  • You will conduct contract negotiations, maintain contract content, and coordinate contractual conditions throughout the entire contract lifecycle.
  • In day-to-day business, you will coordinate supplier relationships and monitor performance, quality, logistics, and timely delivery.
  • You will work closely with specialist departments, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to effectively bundle and implement requirements.
  • Even in development, series, and support phases, you will keep an eye on suppliers, processes, and compliance with agreed conditions.
  • Furthermore, you will actively contribute to the optimization of purchasing and supply chain processes to make workflows more efficient.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completed Bachelor's degree, for example in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or International Management.
  • Initial professional experience in procurement, supplier management, contract management, or in a supply chain or logistics environment.
  • Understanding of technical and functional relationships as well as the willingness to quickly analyze complex topics.
  • Structured, independent, and result-oriented way of working with a focus on deadlines, quality, and economic goals.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Proficient use of MS Excel and MS Word; initial experience with SAP as well as Google Workspace is helpful.
  • Business fluent English is required; German is an advantage.
  • Working hours: Full-time with 35 hours per week.
