As a Mechanical Engineer for Helicopter Maintenance Design (m/f/d) in Donauwörth, you will work on technical solutions that make maintenance and upkeep more efficient, safer, and more practical.

Your Tasks:

  • performing maintainability, ergonomics, and Human Factors analyses to optimize maintainability, safety, and compliance with military maintenance requirements
  • contributing to system design and system integration as well as developing alternative solutions to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce human error
  • the development, validation, and optimization of maintenance procedures as well as performing maintenance time analyses to evaluate maintenance effort
  • the analysis and investigation of maintenance-related incidents as well as the creation of technical reports, presentations, and customer presentations
  • leading Human Factors and maintainability activities as well as responsibility for project management regarding costs, time, quality, and risk management
  • the coordination of subcontractors and close cooperation with design, service, and support departments as well as other internal and external stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:

We are looking for a technical profile with an interest in design, analysis, and structured development work.

Your Qualification:

  • a completed degree in the field of Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in aviation technology
  • very good knowledge in using Catia V5
  • business fluent English skills
