As a Purchasing Clerk (d/m/w) in Hamburg Finkenwerder, you will support purchasing at Airbus. In this temporary employment role, you will take on an interface role between suppliers, specialist departments, and internal tools, ensuring that purchasing processes run smoothly, traceably, and on schedule.
Your Tasks:
- You maintain price and supplier data for complex Cabin components and keep the data foundations in SAP MM as well as other procurement tools up to date.
- You create purchase orders, track them, and support the structured follow-up of open processes.
- You keep an eye on invoices and payments and support the clarification of payment processes with suppliers.
- You work closely with the responsible teams and specialist departments at Airbus to maintain data quality in purchasing.
- You consolidate supplier evaluations and performance data and prepare them for the further purchasing process.
- You archive contract documents electronically and physically in the designated Airbus systems.
- You support the further development of working methods, the standardization of processes, and the automation of administrative activities.
- For coordination, research, and evaluations in Hamburg Finkenwerder, you work with internal specialists and prepare data for negotiations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Your Qualifications:
- Completed Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a comparable field.
- Initial practical experience in scheduling, material procurement, purchasing, supplier management, or Supply Chain is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SAP, ideally with a view to detailed functions in material management.
- Confident handling of Google Workspace as well as a basic understanding of project work and structured processes.
- Very good English skills in spoken and written form.
- Independent, result-oriented way of working with a clear eye for deadlines, priorities, and clean documentation.
- Strong communication skills as well as assertiveness in contact with internal contact persons and external partners.
