3D Harness Designer (m/w/d) AIRBUS (R&D Engineer)

As a 3D Harness Designer (m/w/d) AIRBUS in Donauwörth, you will develop precise cable and wire routing for demanding technical applications. In this role, you combine constructive thinking with high quality standards and ensure that designs can be implemented cleanly.

• the creation and maintenance of 3D models for wire harnesses, wire routing, and associated installation scopes.
• the structural design and detailing of harness solutions for technical assemblies.
• coordination with design, development, and adjacent departments to ensure implementation fits within the overall model.
• the checking of the installation situation, routing paths, and collision-free status in the 3D environment, as well as deriving corresponding adjustments.
• the careful documentation of changes and ensuring the traceability of all relevant information.
• the contribution of your own ideas for efficient and practical design of technical solutions

REQUIREMENTS:

You are a good fit for starting as a 3D Harness Designer (m/w/d) AIRBUS if you think technically, work meticulously, and enjoy constructive tasks in a 3D environment. You can also score points in this role with initial professional experience if you work in a structured manner and can quickly familiarize yourself with complex topics.

• a completed degree in the field of electrical engineering or
• completed further training as an Elektrotechniker (m/w/d)
• professional experience in design engineering
• advanced knowledge in CATIA V5
• business fluent English skills
