The position to be filled

ESTIMATOR

Under the responsibility of the Technical Manager, you will be in charge of preparing quotes. You will work in relation to the sales team, particularly within the framework of calls for tenders, but also with the production, technical, quality, and supply chain teams to gather information.

Main missions

• Collect business quotation requests from sales representatives or clients,
• Participate in the feasibility study based on the company's internal and external resources (manufacturing means, tooling, resources, risks) in view of customer and regulatory requirements,
• Collect industrial means, tooling, and manufacturing times per operation to prepare the quotation,
• Consult material/component/tooling element/subcontracting suppliers according to needs,
• Calculate the corresponding quotes (material, time, labor),
• Ensure the follow-up of completed quotes and readjust prices according to developments
• Fill in and maintain the follow-up of calls for tenders
• Participate in the economic assessment of production according to the request of the Technical Manager
• Maintain indicators up to date

Profile sought

• BUT/DUT in mechanical production engineering
• Desired experience of 2 years in an industrial environment (manufacturing, methods ...)
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (organization, methodology...)
• Knowledge of materials
• Knowledge of mechanics/sheet metal/cutting-stamping
• Mastery of reading blueprints
• Ability to read, evaluate, and analyze specifications
• Technical English required for reading documents (blueprints, customer specifications)
• Mastery of offer and price request processes
• Mastery of project management
• Mastery of IT tools (Office pack, ERP)
• Use of 3D software
