Responsibilities/Skills.

  • Participate with the Legal department in the drafting of commercial contracts.
  • Interaction and support of plants to develop and implement projects to obtain cost savings towards AEES objectives.
  • Sourcing and development of new Suppliers that contribute to meeting Customer needs, as well as the Company's performance.
  • Obtain Cost Reduction Savings according to the established objectives as KPIs.
  • Achieve the department's key performance indicators.
  • Create, follow up on purchase orders, and expedite material as necessary to ensure the complete and punctual delivery of all materials and/or services included in the purchase orders.
  • Keep internal Customers updated on the status of all purchase orders.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports that monitor the status of purchase orders, KPIs, cycle times, savings, etc.
  • Actively participate in solving problems related to purchase orders, as well as those related to payments to Suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance throughout the indirect purchasing organization (including the supplier base).
  • Comply with environmental, safety, and health requirements set forth in the legislation and regulations related to our activities and products, as well as those MASS requirements established by the community, our customers, and others to which we are subscribed.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
  • More than 3 years of experience in purchasing as a buyer of goods and services, negotiations with national and international suppliers, and preparation and interpretation of purchasing reports.
  • Internal Candidate: at least 1 year in current position.
