Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager,Special Projects to lead and oversee strategic projects, business initiativesand special assignments within the Facilities Management division.
The role requires strong project management, operational andstakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to drive projects fromconceptualisation through to implementation while ensuring timely delivery,cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Lead and manage special projects and strategic initiatives assigned by senior management.
- Oversee project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, implementation and delivery.
- Drive operational improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, productivity and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal departments, clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Identify operational gaps, assess business challenges and recommend practical solutions.
- Monitor project progress, timelines, budgets and deliverables, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Support business expansion, new project mobilisation, contract transitions and other business-critical assignments.
- Ensure projects comply with contractual obligations, statutory requirements, workplace safety and company standards.
- Undertake ad-hoc assignments and management initiatives as required.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management, Building Operations or Project Management.
- Prior experience managing multiple projects, operational initiatives or cross-functional assignments.
- Strong leadership, project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Good commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control and resource planning.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Able to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver results under tight timelines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
