CONTROLS ENGINEER

Responsible for designing, programming, implementing, and supporting industrial automation and control systems to ensure the reliability and efficiency of production equipment.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

  • Programming and optimization of Allen Bradley PLC, HMI, frequency drives, servomotors, and instrumentation.
  • Diagnosis and troubleshooting of automation and control systems.
  • Specialized technical support to the Production and Maintenance areas.
  • Development and implementation of automation projects to increase productivity.
  • Coordination of installation, testing, and commissioning of new automated equipment.
  • Vendor management and follow-up on automation projects.
  • Updating and safeguarding technical documentation, programs, backups, and electrical diagrams.
  • Evaluation and modernization of control technologies to prevent obsolescence.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Electromechanical Engineering.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial automation.
  • Experience in programming and diagnosis of PLC and motion control systems.
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC, HMI, industrial networks, industrial electronics, technical English, and intermediate Excel.
