Testing & Commissioning Engineer – Electrical Substations
Perform testing and commissioning activities for electrical substations and power systems.
Execute pre-commissioning, testing, commissioning, and energization activities.
Conduct electrical testing of substation equipment and systems.
Perform troubleshooting and identify technical issues during testing and commissioning.
Prepare and review testing and commissioning procedures, checklists, and test reports.
Ensure testing activities are performed according to approved procedures, project specifications, and applicable standards.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety requirements during all testing and commissioning activities.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably Electrical Power Engineering.
4–5 years of relevant professional experience.
Proven hands-on experience in Testing & Commissioning of Electrical Substations.
The candidate should be currently working as a Testing & Commissioning Engineer or have very recent relevant T&C experience.
Practical experience with electrical testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and energization.
Good understanding of HV/MV substations and electrical equipment.
Ability to read and understand SLDs, electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
Good technical reporting and documentation skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work on-site and travel to project locations when required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with HV/MV Substations.
Experience with substation testing equipment and commissioning tools.
Previous experience with EPC contractors, engineering consultants, utilities, or industrial projects.
Experience with major electrical power projects is an advantage.
Ready to relocate or travel to project locations when required.
Candidates who are ready to move/join ADVEC within a short notice period are preferred.
