For the ENDINGEN location at the Kaiserstuhl, we are looking for a full-time PROJECT MANAGER (m/f/d)

Your main tasks

As a Project Manager, you will assume holistic responsibility for customer projects - from project acquisition and project handover to the transfer of the released project to series production. In doing so, you are the central interface between customers, Key Account Management, internal project teams, the series production plant, as well as external partners and suppliers. With your structured and solution-oriented way of working, you ensure that technical, qualitative, scheduled, and economic project goals are achieved.

Main tasks

• From inquiry to project: You support the Key Account Manager as early as the acquisition phase with feasibility, risk analysis, product calculation, investment planning, and project scheduling, and participate in customer presentations during the bidding phase.
• Manage projects holistically: After the project handover, you assume overall responsibility and manage the project according to the Adval Tech Project Management System.
• Connecting people and competencies: You coordinate the cooperation between customers, Key Account Management, internal project teams, the series production plant, as well as external partners and suppliers.
• Develop products together: You coordinate product design and product development in cooperation with internal and external partners and suppliers and ensure that the final product design meets customer specifications as well as all technical and qualitative requirements.
• Focus on the schedule: You manage project progress, secure customer milestones, and ensure that internal project goals are reliably achieved.
• Actively shape changes: You evaluate changes to products and processes regarding their technical, scheduled, and economic impacts.
• Ensure profitability: You keep an eye on product calculation, project budget, and investments and coordinate the impacts with Key Account Management and project controlling.
• Bring success into series production: You accompany the project until successful release and the structured handover of the project to the series production plant.

Your profile

Profile

You combine technical understanding, project management, and customer orientation and maintain an overview even with complex projects.

• Completed studies in Maschinenbau, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, including at least 2 years in the development of comparable products
• Experience with metal products from stamping and forming processes and/or plastic products from injection molding processes
• Sound knowledge in quality management, FMEA, APQP, and validation processes as well as the management systems IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
• Very good English skills in speaking and writing; further language skills are an advantage
• Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel, as well as with project management tools such as MS Project/Gantt
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, confident and professional in dealing with customers and partners
• Strong customer and service orientation as well as the ability to understand customer needs and requirements and translate them into effective solutions
• Proactive, reliable, and structured with a high awareness of quality
• Team-oriented personality with enjoyment in cross-departmental and international cooperation
