MR Trailerservice AB specializes in the service, maintenance, and repair of heavy vehicles, primarily trailers and semi-trailers.
We have workshops in Helsingborg and Göteborg and assist our customers with everything from hydraulics, brakes, and vehicle electrics to tire service and blacksmithing work.

Your tasks
About the position We are now looking for an experienced and self-driven mechanic for our workshop in Helsingborg.
With us, you will primarily work with service, troubleshooting, and repair of trailers and semi-trailers, but also trucks and other heavy vehicles. No two days need to be the same, and you will have the opportunity to use your technical knowledge across several different areas.
Your main tasks
- Service, troubleshooting, and repair of trailers, semi-trailers, and trucks.
- Maintenance and repair of hydraulic systems.
- Work with braking systems, wheel bearings, and vehicle electrics.
- Tire changes, tire service, and repairs on light and heavy vehicles.
- Welding and other mechanical workshop tasks.
- Customer contact and practical problem-solving.
Requirements
You will work both independently and together with your colleagues. Since you will also come into contact with our customers, it is important that you enjoy providing good service and finding solutions that work in practice.
Who are you? We believe that you have worked for a few years as a mechanic and feel confident in troubleshooting, repairing, and finding your own solutions.
You have a genuine technical interest, are meticulous in your work, and enjoy having plenty to do. You don't need to know exactly everything from the start, but we would like to see that you have a broad mechanical understanding and enjoy developing.
As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and unpretentious. You are happy to help a colleague when needed and understand the value of customers receiving fast and professional service.
We are looking for someone who has
- At least 3 years of experience in mechanical work with heavy vehicles.
- Good knowledge of troubleshooting, service, and repair.
- Experience with hydraulics, braking systems, and vehicle electrics.
- Experience with tire work on light and heavy vehicles.
- B-driver's license.
- Basic knowledge of English.
It is an extra merit if you have
- CE-driver's license.
- Experience with trailers and semi-trailers.
- Knowledge of EBS and CAN-bus systems.
- Experience in welding, gas cutting, or working with aluminum and stainless steel.
- Experience with wheel alignment.
- Forklift license or overhead crane training.
- Good computer skills.
