About the company
Adore Recruitment is looking for an experienced, organised and proactive Stock Controller to join a successful, well-established business based in Stanford-le-Hope.
Your tasks
Working on the night shift, you'll play a key role in ensuring stock accuracy, managing inventory movements and keeping warehouse operations running smoothly.
Maintain accurate stock records and monitor inventory levels.
Carry out regular stock checks, cycle counts and inventory audits.
Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies quickly and efficiently.
Ensure all stock movements are correctly recorded on warehouse management systems.
Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to maintain efficient operations.
Monitor incoming and outgoing stock to ensure accuracy.
Identify opportunities to improve stock control processes.
Maintain high standards of organisation, accuracy and health & safety.
Requirements

If you're great with numbers, thrive in a busy warehouse environment and enjoy taking ownership of stock accuracy, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Previous experience in stock control, inventory management or warehouse operations.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS).
Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Confident investigating discrepancies and resolving problems.
A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently.
Reliable, self-motivated and comfortable working permanent night shifts.
What we offer
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum
£28,000 – £30,000 per annum Permanent night shift: 10pm–6am.
Monday-to-Friday working pattern.
