Your tasks
Manages a team of engineers, RNS to provide professional reservoir navigation/geosteering support to operational sites to ensure all drilling operations are carried out successfully in line with the well prognosis and plan.
Job specific accountabilities
- Supervises the technical support provided for reservoir navigation/geosteering operations including pre/post well 2D interpretation/modeling and log production/QC (quality control).
- Provides technical advice and guidance on reservoir navigation/geosteering operations.
- Manages and approves the execution of service contracts including quarterly allocation of services to contractors.
- Secures additional services needed for expansion of work including new rigs, new fields and special projects.
- Manages and monitors contractor’s performance and the allocation of services based on market share and capabilities.
- Supervises the introduction of new geosteering/RNS technologies.
- Manages special projects as assigned.
- Complies with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice.
Requirements
Minimum qualification
- Bachelor's degree in geosciences or a related earth science discipline.
Minimum experience & knowledge & skills
- 8 years’ experience in drilling services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a drive for results.
