Major duties

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As an Supervisory Monitoring Program Specialist , you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Establishing metrics and analysis systems to ensure action items are timely and reviewed at critical points. Developing goals and objectives that integrate organization and integration objectives. Assignning work based on organization priorities and consideration of difficulty and requirements of assignments such that the experience, training and abilities of staff are effectively utilized.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Basic Qualifications: A. Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR B. Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. OR C. Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Overseeing, planning, and evaluating on-site monitoring visits and reviews to assess provider compliance, identify deficiencies, and ensure the quality and safety of services to children and/or refugee populations. Interpreting, applying, and enforcing policies, procedures, statutes, regulations, cooperative agreements, contracts, licensing standards, and grant terms to determine program compliance, operational feasibility, and corrective actions for children and/or refugee settlement programs. Providing full supervisory and personnel management authority, including assigning and prioritizing work, evaluating performance, addressing conduct or performance issues, and aligning staff resources with organizational and programmatic needs.
