Your tasks

On behalf of our client, an international group, reporting to the Staffing Business Director, you will act as a Senior General Accountant bilingual English (M/F) within the finance department. You will join a structured team and work on a full scope of general accounting through the following tasks:

• Preparation of year-end entries: (CCA, FNP, provisions, loans, FX revaluations)
• Fixed assets management
• Analysis and justification of accounts (balance sheet & P&L)
• Participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Production of monthly reporting for the group
• Recording of payroll entries
• Tax declarations: TVA, DEB/DES
• Contribution to the calculation of taxable income and corporate tax
• Participation in the preparation of the tax return and annual accounts
• Management of specific invoicing (intercompany, marketing, etc.)
• Interaction with statutory auditors
• Contribution to the continuous improvement of processes

Requirements

Education & experience

• Bachelor's to Master's degree in Accounting / Finance
• Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting
• Experience in a structured environment / group preferred

Technical skills

• Mastery of complete accounting cycles
• Mastery of accounting and tax standards (IFRS required)
• Experience with closings and group reporting

ERP/IT Tools

• Mastery of a large-account ERP is imperative (type SAP FI-AP / S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle, BlackLine, Anaplan, Kyriba) and proven practice with an invoice digitalization tool (type Basware, Esker, Yooz) or global digitalization.
• Advanced Excel / Spreadsheets: Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query queries (mastery of Excel remains mandatory).

Languages

• Fluent English required
