Context & missions

On behalf of our client, a major player in the agri-food industry, and reporting to the Staffing Business Director, you will intervene as part of your first mission as an EMEA Buyer. Your main tasks will be as follows: - Execute low to medium complexity purchasing activities. - Prepare and maintain supplier contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures. - Support senior category buyers in the execution of purchasing initiatives and key supplier-related events. - Drive the implementation of local purchasing decisions and support the local application of regional purchasing decisions.

Provide data analysis and support to the category procurement team for category strategy development and the execution of purchasing activities. - Develop and apply a global understanding of the local landscape, stakeholders, and the procurement sector. Work with sites to resolve issues with suppliers. - Follow established procurement procedures to select non-contracted and non-managed service providers. - Administer transactions related to obtaining services. - Handle basic issues under direct supervision, while redirecting more complex questions to the appropriate personnel. - Maintain accurate tracking and documentation of purchases, including performance indicators, managed spend, purchasing activities, and other procurement KPIs.

Your profile Master's degree (BAC+5) in negotiation/procurement - Experience with SAP - Experience working with suppliers or third parties - Fluent English mandatory (daily exchanges with a shared service center based in Poland).

Context / Challenges: The EMEA Associate Buyer - Technical Maintenance and Building Services will manage day-to-day purchasing activities at the level of one or more countries. In this position, you will coordinate and execute low to medium complexity purchasing activities, support high value-added strategic purchasing events led by the category procurement team, and execute contracting and supplier management activities.
