R&D Biochemistry and Bioanalysis Technician (M/F)

As part of the strengthening of its research and development activities, the CINABIO R&D Bioprocesses laboratory is looking for a Biochemistry & Bioanalyses Technician to join its Biochemistry/Bioanalyses hub.

Within a dynamic team of 30 people, you will play an essential role in the development, implementation, and optimization of biochemical analysis methods. You will collaborate closely with the Industrialization and Strain Engineering teams to support the laboratory's R&D projects.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform biochemical analyses on samples from research and development projects. Participate, alongside the research engineer, in the management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the analytical platform.
• Ensure the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of analytical equipment (uHPLC, HPAEC, mass spectrometry, etc.).
• Guarantee the availability of reagents, consumables, and materials necessary for the proper functioning of the laboratory.
• Record and document the work performed as well as the results obtained in the dedicated tracking tools.
• Utilize and interpret analytical data in collaboration with the research engineer.
• Write test reports, procedures, and technical reports.
• Present the results obtained and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Participate in laboratory life and ensure compliance with QHSE rules and standards.

YOUR PROFILE:

Education & experience:

• Education: Bac +2/3 in Biochemistry or Analytical Chemistry Biotechnology,
• 3 years of experience in applied analytics in the biotechnology fields in an R&I environment is appreciated

Technical skills:

• Good mastery of analytical and biochemical techniques.
• Experience in using analytical equipment such as HPLC, MSQ, and ion chromatography (IC).
• Mastery of control and data exploitation software (Chromeleon, Excalibur, or equivalents).
• Solid knowledge of biochemistry tools and methods.
• Ability to write clear and structured technical reports and summaries.
• Mastery of Pack Office.
• Technical English, reading and writing.
