Sales Assistant (m/f/d) Full-time, temporary -BCS Herzogenaurach Purpose & overall relevance for the organization: Contributes to achieving or exceeding sales figures and KPI targets through the following:

• Builds an emotional connection with customers and lives the brand values
• Serves customers, sells, and carries out store operations conscientiously

Responsibilities:

• Knows the store goals and individual goals and actively works to achieve or exceed them, utilizing all available resources
• Meets or exceeds customer expectations and drives sales as well as brand awareness by applying appropriate elements of the Customer Mission Statement
• Builds an emotional bond with every customer by acting as a passionate and enthusiastic brand ambassador • Actively incorporates basic knowledge and facts about seasonal products into the service approach within his/her store area
• Maintains an appealing, pleasant environment in which customers enjoy shopping, paying attention to Visual Merchandising as well as order and cleanliness
• Adheres to the rules and procedures (SOM regulations) applicable to the store and maintains a safe shopping and working atmosphere
• Ensures that the product range is available to the customer by helping when goods have been delivered and the sales floor needs to be replenished
• Minimizes losses by always paying attention to stock levels while serving customers
• Trains new employees (if applicable)
• Works productively and respectfully with team members to achieve or exceed store goals
• Completes all prescribed training programs and successfully applies them in his/her work
• Signals continuous willingness to learn and uses all offered opportunities to drive his/her development and improve his/her performance
• Cashiering activities (if applicable)

o Ensures correct payment processes including careful handling of goods o Performs cash closures carefully o Completes sales quickly and accurately and adheres to the specified guidelines for securing cash balances (if applicable)

• Endless Aisle (if applicable) Informs customers about the new ordering/sales possibility in the Online Shop and uses the Endless Aisle tablet to offer product descriptions and/or customer feedback on products during the sales process.
• Click & Collect (if applicable) Monitors and oversees new online orders placed by online customers that must be reserved, packed, and handed out to the customer in the store.

Required education and experience / minimum requirement:

• 0-3 years Retail experience
• Training as a salesperson desirable
• Basic knowledge of English
