The position supports the Store Manager in the area of Consumer Experience to create a premium experience for our customers by the job holder managing all Front-of-House shopfloor activities and leading the team to create and maintain a highly effective, brand-oriented customer experience within the store, with the aim of increasing customer satisfaction, brand engagement, and conversion throughout the entire customer journey until they leave the store. The Assistant Store Manager – Consumer Experience is responsible for leading, engaging, and inspiring the store team to ensure an efficient, productive, and service-oriented culture within the team and for the end customer. Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager - Operations, stakeholders, and the store team, implement and establish robust processes to identify key actions and support the execution of all topics regarding the customer service culture.
  • Collaboration and leadership of the Consumer Experience team to provide first-class end-to-end customer service using key tools, innovations, loyalty programs, promotions, product launches, and commercial key moments to maximize success opportunities and to be a role model for customer service for other stores/shops in the district and throughout the entire portfolio.
  • Use and implementation of omnichannel experiences and tools to provide a first-class InStore and omnichannel customer experience in collaboration with other functions and the store team.
  • Leadership and responsibility for projects regarding briefings, conception, tracking, implementation, and follow-up until the desired result, taking responsibility for key areas and managing their future success.
  • Ensuring the identification, improvement, and implementation of best practices within the branch, supporting market/cluster business projects as needed, and collaborating with other teams to build a success model for the consumer service culture.
  • Promoting customer loyalty through high-quality interactions, implementation, and coordination of seamless execution of in-store activation events in collaboration with supporting functions, SCM, Retail Marketing / Key City Marketing, Activation Management, VM, and Retail Operations, as well as supporting the maintenance of the standards set in these areas.
  • Submitting suggestions for improvement for customer service using innovations and operational drivers to deliver ideas based on NPS analyses, competitor checks, connections to communities, and proven successes.
  • Building a knowledge base regarding and experience with products, features, benefits, competitors, and the future market to promote brand engagement, consumer centricity, and the branch KPIs, including retail, financial KPIs, and NPS.
  • Managing regular NPS, consumer feedback, and retail KPI reports to provide analyses and insights that serve as a basis for actions, enabling the branch and the local team to recognize opportunities and growth and to share best practices at a market and global level.
  • Driving the completion of all relevant training and ensuring compliance with global and local legal standards for all operational topics such as inventory management, logistics, profit protection, facilities, health and safety, IT, finance, and other branch-related activities, as well as monitoring/evaluating established processes to ensure full compliance with requirements in the branch and to demonstrate successes.
  • Managing and leading additional priorities and retail workflows assigned by the Retail Director and stakeholders to respond promptly to trends and opportunities.
  • Supporting the maintenance of the operating structure and the setting of clear goals based on the Retail Director's strategy, achieving common goals, and defining operating processes; managing the team's workload, applying uniform best practices, and achieving results to translate the company vision and strategy into reality for the dedicated customer service team with the key stakeholders.
  • Acting as a role model and coach in the development and maintenance of a positive service culture for customers, including the proactive and consistent communication of the brand attitude and values as well as the attitude towards Diversity & Inclusion.

Leadership:

  • Supporting the Store Manager in creating and promoting a high-performance culture throughout the entire store team by setting a clear strategy and performance goals (using appropriate training tools and performance management via #Mybest) in collaboration with the HR Manager, to analyze performance, hold teams accountable, provide appropriate and timely feedback, and achieve continuous improvements and results.
  • Providing uniform Talent Management processes within one's own team and supporting the development of talent for leadership positions.

Team Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience working in a retail environment focused on sports/fashion, consumer, and trade.
  • Strong communication skills, including effective presentation skills.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Influence and negotiation skills with experience in Change Management and in a high-pressure environment.
  • Solid and proven experience in employee leadership of multiple team members in a fast-paced, task-oriented environment.

Required Education and Experience / Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the sports and/or fashion industry.
