- Management of the procurement of products and services in close coordination with internal specialist departments
- Analysis of requirements as well as creation of price and cost calculations
- Selection of suitable suppliers and active participation in contract and price negotiations
- Monitoring of delivery dates as well as processing of deviations and complaints
- Maintenance and further development of supplier and master data
- Handling of commercial correspondence in procurement

- Completed commercial training (e.g., Industriekaufmann/-frau) or a degree in business administration
- Initial professional experience in operative purchasing or a comparable function, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Very good knowledge of MS Office as well as SAP R/3 or SAP S/4HANA (SAP MM)
- Good English skills for communication with international suppliers
- Solid business understanding and strong affinity for numbers
- Independent, solution-oriented way of working
- Joy of communication, negotiation skills, and team orientation
