BOOKKEEPER

Our client is a leading producer and supplier of micro-ingredients for the animal feed industry. This international player from Heist-op-den-Berg develops and commercializes functional ingredients that protect both the feed and the animal and optimize the nutritional quality of animal feeds.

To expand their team in Heist-op-den-Berg, our client is looking for a Bookkeeper.

In collaboration with your colleagues, you will ensure correct A to Z accounting for various trading companies.

Responsibilities:

• General accounting
• Booking purchase and sales invoices
• Booking bank transactions
• Preparation of payments to suppliers
• Providing assistance for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Monthly VAT returns
• Handling various surveys and declarations
• Back-up for your colleagues during their absence
• Providing support to colleagues during busy periods
• Various administrative accounting tasks

You work from Monday to Friday during daytime hours.

• You have obtained at least a professional bachelor's degree in a financial field.
• You already have experience with SAP or a similar ERP package in a production environment.
• You have thorough practical knowledge of general accounting and VAT legislation.
• You have a lot of experience with excel.
• You are good at languages, English is a must.
• You have an eye for deadlines and are stress-resistant.
• An analytical mind and a critical insight characterize you in your job.
• You are good with numbers and accurate.
• You know how to organize your work systematically and well.
• You are flexible and hands-on.
• Knowledge of the accounting program Odoo is an asset.
