School Cleaner - Immediate Start

Location: Liverpool Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 11:30am Salary: Competitive Hourly Rate Start Date: Immediate

We are currently recruiting for a School Cleaner to join a busy and friendly school on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, staff rooms and communal areas
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washroom facilities
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and polishing floors
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies as required
• Using floor-cleaning machinery and equipment to maintain larger areas
• Working safely with cleaning chemicals and adhering to COSHH regulations
• Following school cleaning schedules and health & safety procedures
• Ensuring all areas are kept clean, safe and presentable for staff, pupils and visitors

Requirements

• Previous commercial or school cleaning experience preferred
• Able to use cleaning equipment and floor-cleaning machinery, or willing to be trained
• Comfortable handling cleaning chemicals safely
• Chemical/COSHH training would be advantageous, although training can be provided where required
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
• Good attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards
• Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS Certificate that has already been processed and is available for work immediately
