The role You'll join an established audit team, working with a varied portfolio of clients across a range of industries. You'll gain exposure to larger and more complex assignments while receiving support from experienced Seniors, Managers and Partners. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with audit assignments from planning through to completion.
Carrying out audit fieldwork for a varied portfolio of clients.
Preparing audit working papers and documenting findings.
Identifying audit risks and reporting findings to senior colleagues.
Building relationships with clients and developing an understanding of their businesses.
Working closely with Audit Seniors and Managers on more complex assignments.
Supporting junior colleagues as your experience develops.
About you We're looking for an ambitious Audit Semi Senior with previous experience in a UK accountancy practice who is keen to develop their technical skills and progress their career. Ideally, you'll have: At least 12-18 months' experience in external audit.
Be studying towards ACA or ACCA qualification.
Experience working on audit assignments within an accountancy practice.
A good understanding of audit and accounting standards.
Strong communication skills and the confidence to deal directly with clients.
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
