The Opportunity We're working with a fantastic and growing business that's looking for a Stores/ Logistics assistant to join their team. This is a varied, hands-on role combining warehouse operations, stock control, administration and driving responsibilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of warehouse, administration and driving duties and wants to join a business that genuinely invests in its people and offers long-term career development.
Your tasks
You'll play a key role in keeping the warehouse running smoothly while also representing the business out on the road, attending customer sites, exhibitions and events. Driving is an essential part of the role, with visits typically taking place 1-2 times per day.
- Receiving and booking in deliveries
- Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders
- Managing stock and carrying out stock checks
- Updating warehouse information on internal systems
- Completing deliveries to customer sites and exhibitions
- Supporting trade shows and event logistics
- Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient warehouse environment
Requirements
Driving License & Own car/ access to own car is essential.
- Previous warehouse, logistics or coordination experience
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Organised, reliable and proactive approach
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
