SEND Services Coordinator
Location: Epsom and Leatherhead Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Are you ready to take ownership of a service and make a genuine difference? We're seeking an enthusiastic and organised SEND Services Coordinator to lead and develop specialist programmes supporting children and young people with additional needs and disabilities.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants more than a traditional coordinator role. You'll be empowered to shape activities, recruit and lead staff, manage resources, and oversee the delivery of engaging programmes that create positive outcomes for children, young people and their families.
Working within a supportive team environment, you'll have the autonomy to develop your own services while receiving guidance, training and ongoing professional development.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and coordinating engaging activities and programmes for children and young people with SEND.
- Leading and supporting a team of staff and volunteers.
- Recruiting, inducting and developing team members.
- Building positive relationships with families, carers and external professionals.
- Managing service delivery, staffing schedules and resources.
- Overseeing budgets and monitoring programme effectiveness.
- Developing inclusive activities tailored to individual needs.
- Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety and compliance standards are met.
- Supporting children and young people with a range of disabilities, complex needs and behavioural challenges.
- Continuously identifying ways to enhance and develop services.
