Your tasks

*Requirement: Enhanced DBS Check Required We're looking for an experienced and reliable Cook to join a busy school catering team, covering sites in both Whitehaven and Workington**.

Requirements

Duties Include

• Preparing sandwiches and packed lunch items for students attending residential trips
• Cooking approximately 30-40 meals per day
• Producing a variety of hot meals such as sausage & mash and other daily specials
• Preparing sandwiches, jacket potatoes and alternative lunch options
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
• Following food safety regulations at all times

What we offer

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous cooking or catering experience
• Comfortable working in a school environment
• Able to work independently across two sites
• Holds a valid DBS certificate or is happy to undergo a DBS check
• Reliable, organised and passionate about providing quality meals
