Mould Technical Manager (m/f) (M/F)

Adecco Lons-le-saunier is recruiting for one of its clients a Mould Technical Manager (F/M) on a CDI basis in Messia sur sorne.

Your mission: Reporting to the Production Manager and working in relation with the Production, Maintenance, and R&D teams, he/she ensures the monitoring, availability, reliability, and performance of the tooling.

• Tooling monitoring: Participates in managing the lifecycle of the moulds, from defining the need, design, and purchase to reception, setup, validation, and production start.
• Maintenance and performance of the mould fleet: Guarantee the availability, reliability, and compliance of the tooling by ensuring its monitoring, preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as anticipating repairs and renewals.
• Technical expertise and continuous improvement: Provide expertise in resolving technical problems, lead improvement actions, and contribute to the reliability, standardization, and optimization of mould tooling.
• Economic management and traceability: Ensure cost estimation, cost monitoring, and control of investments related to the moulds, while guaranteeing the traceability of interventions and the updating of the GMAO.
• Management and service performance: Manage and develop the teams (4 mould preparers and one mould maker mechanic), organize the daily activity of the department, and be responsible for safety, quality, cost, deadline, tooling availability, and industrial performance objectives.

Your profile:

• You have a Bac+2 or Bac+5 in tooling.
• You have proven experience in a similar position, with a background in mechanics and machining; experience in plastics is indispensable.
• Technical English is necessary for this position.
• The position requires rigor, autonomy, and organizational skills, as well as good analytical skills and a strong ability to solve problems. It also requires leadership, reactivity, team spirit, and the ability to propose solutions, with a real taste for field work and continuous improvement.
• Your taste for teamwork allows you to be a true support for the company. A field manager, dynamic and humble, endowed with a strong mechanical culture. Capable of uniting teams, driving continuous improvement, and being a driver of collective performance.
