Quality manager

Your tasks

As Quality Control Laboratory Manager, you are responsible for the smooth running of the department, composed of a team of 10 people. In this context, your main missions will be as follows:

• Supervise all analytical tests (HPLC, GC, potentiometric assays, ...) on a daily basis relating to the quality control of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
• Guarantee the application of good laboratory practices and regulatory requirements
• Participate in the drafting, control, and maintenance of all documentation related to quality control activities (procedures, protocols, work instructions)
• Participate in the development, transfer, and validation activities of analytical methods.
• Supervise analytical investigations and follow up on associated CAPA
• Manage the monitoring and maintenance of analytical equipment
• Guarantee the reliability and integrity of analytical data.
• Participate in audits and inspections
• Be an active participant and a source of proposals for continuous improvement projects
• Participate in the training and skill development of laboratory personnel.
• Holder of an engineering degree, a Master's and/or a PhD, ideally in analytical chemistry. You have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a similar position.
• Recognized managerial skills.
• Excellent theoretical and practical knowledge of analytical equipment, in particular HPLC and GC
• Knowledge of the Empower and Starlims computer systems is a plus
• Proactive behavior, oriented towards solving complex problems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good command of English. Spanish is a plus.
