Management Accountant 3-6 month
Your tasks
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established business based in Canvey Island on a temporary basis for an initial 3-6 month contract.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Variance analysis and commentary
- Budgeting and forecasting support
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Month-end reporting and journal entries
- Cash flow monitoring and reporting
- Assisting with annual audits and compliance requirements
- Producing financial reports and analysis for senior management
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements within the finance function
Requirements
This role is ideal for a proactive finance professional who can quickly integrate into the team, take ownership of financial reporting, and support business decision-making through accurate and timely management information.
- Qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
- Previous Management Accountant experience is essential
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Available to start within the next two weeks
- MUST HAVE EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE WITH XERO
