Electrical Manager

Location: Flexible / Hybrid Working Available Salary: £62,485 + Excellent Benefits Sector: Social Housing / Property Services The Opportunity We are partnering with a forward-thinking housing provider seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to lead the delivery of electrical compliance and safety across a substantial residential property portfolio. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for ensuring full compliance with all relevant electrical legislation, regulations and industry best practice. You will oversee the delivery of electrical responsive repairs, EICR programmes, remedial works and wider M&E compliance activities while driving service excellence, performance and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead the organisation's electrical compliance function across occupied and void properties. Manage the delivery of electrical testing, inspection, EICR programmes and associated remedial works. Ensure compliance with BS7671, electrical safety legislation and health & safety requirements. Develop and enhance policies, procedures and compliance frameworks. Oversee contractor and supply chain performance, ensuring quality, value for money and regulatory compliance. Manage budgets, forecasts and financial performance across the electrical compliance service. Lead performance monitoring through KPIs, audit activity, compliance reporting and management information. Provide expert technical advice to internal stakeholders and support organisational audit readiness. Drive a culture of continuous improvement, customer focus and operational excellence. Lead, develop and motivate a high-performing team. About You We're keen to speak with experienced professionals who can demonstrate: Significant experience managing electrical compliance services within social housing, property services, construction or a related environment. Strong technical knowledge of electrical safety, compliance and inspection programmes. Experience overseeing EICR programmes and electrical remedial works. A relevant electrical qualification and up-to-date industry knowledge. Proven leadership experience managing teams, contractors and operational performance. Strong understanding of compliance monitoring, governance, risk management and audit processes. Experience managing budgets and delivering value-for-money services. Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
