Are you an experienced Administrator, Team Assistant or Business Support professional with a background in Financial Services? We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Business Administrator to join a busy Business Administration Centre on an initial 6-month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to support bankers and investment counsellors within a fast-paced, professional environment, providing essential administrative and operational support.

The Role

As part of a small administration team, you will provide support to approximately 120 Banking and Investment professionals. You will be responsible for managing travel, expenses, onboarding activities and wider business administration, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing and managing expense claims in line with company policies
  • Coordinating global business travel, including flights, hotels, rail, taxis and visa requirements
  • Managing corporate card delinquency processes and liaising with employees regarding outstanding balances
  • Supporting new joiners and leavers, including IT equipment requests, access arrangements and desk allocations
  • Resolving expense exceptions and payment-related queries
  • Ordering stationery, business cards and office supplies
  • Booking meeting rooms, refreshments, couriers and AV equipment
  • Maintaining locker and workspace inventories
  • Assisting with office move and workplace transition activities when required
  • Providing general administrative support across the business

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Previous administration experience within Banking, Wealth Management or Financial Services
  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong travel and expense management experience
  • Experience coordinating international travel arrangements
  • Proven ability to work independently while managing competing priorities

Skills Required

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience using Concur or similar travel and expense platforms
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude
