We are currently looking for a Sustainability Manager for a well-established manufacturing company located in Malmö. In this role, you will have the opportunity to combine leadership with operational and strategic work within sustainability, work environment, and safety. About you

You are a confident leader with solid competence in work environment, health, safety, and sustainability, preferably from the manufacturing industry. You have at least five years of experience from production-related activities and have previously led teams or workgroups. You have good knowledge of Swedish legislation regarding the work environment and sustainability, as well as the ability to translate regulations and requirements into practical and effective processes that support safe and sustainable production.

As a person, you are communicative, engaging, and skilled at building trusting relationships within the company. You have a proactive way of working, are driven by improvement work, and have the ability to coach, influence, and create results together with others.

Qualifications

  • At least five years of relevant experience from the manufacturing industry or production-related activities
  • Previous experience in a leadership role
  • Relevant post-secondary education
  • Good knowledge of Swedish work environment and sustainability legislation as well as an understanding of production processes
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent English in speech and writing
  • Experience from the food industry or other regulated production activities is meritorious
