INTERNATIONAL PURCHASING ANALYST FOREIGN TRADE MEDELLIN
An important company in the industrial sector is looking for a Specialized Purchasing Analyst, responsible for managing international procurement processes for accessories and supplies for air conditioning systems, guaranteeing efficiency in costs, quality, and delivery times.
Job Requirements
Education: Technologist or professional in Business Administration, Foreign Trade, Industrial Engineering, or related careers; university students in their final semesters in these areas are also accepted.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in import processes of industrial products, performing international purchasing management and relationship management with foreign suppliers.
Languages: English level B1 – B2 (conversational for sending emails).
Main Functions
- Analyze the supply needs for raw materials, equipment, and supplies in coordination with the planning area and user areas.
- Manage and negotiate international purchases, including prices, Incoterms, delivery times, and commercial conditions with suppliers.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop international suppliers, ensuring compliance in cost, quality, service, and company standards.
- Generate and follow up on international purchase orders, guaranteeing the timely delivery of raw materials and supplies.
- Evaluate supplier performance and manage deviations, promoting continuous improvement and cost optimization in the purchasing process.

Contract type: Indefinite Salary: $3.059.900 + transportation allowance + legal benefits Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Modality: On-site Workplace: Medellín, Guayabal sector
