Network and Server Administrator - Miraflores/Full Payroll/Food Card

Important company is looking for a Network and Server Administrator who meets the following profile:

What we are looking for in you:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Windows and Linux network and server administrator.
• Intermediate knowledge in Information Security, communication links, monitoring tools, and server virtualization (indispensable).
• Knowledge of ITIL, SQL language, and PostgreSQL.
• Graduate and/or bachelor's degree from a university in Systems, Informatics, or related fields.
• Proactive, methodical, and organized.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team.
• Communication skills.
• Intermediate English (reading and writing).
• Availability for work visits to the district of Villa el Salvador.

Main functions:

• Manage the company's communication equipment (Router, switches, APs, etc.), manage security updates and changes with local ISPs and in the cloud (Huawei, Rackspace, etc.).
• Administration and support for the company's Windows/Linux/VMware/Cloud servers, maintaining their integrity and performance, installing and configuring new software and updates.
• Manage security appliances: Fortigate, internet balancer, bandwidth administrator.
• Responsible for the monitoring center of infrastructure equipment and components (NOC).
• Specialized troubleshooting of incidents related to infrastructure and communications equipment.
• Preparation of reports and application of changes requested by the Security area.
• Present improvement projects to decrease incidents or reduce costs.
• Preparation and updating of diagrams and manuals regarding network topology and servers.
