Job Summary

You will prepare and manage ingredients and materials for Food & Consumer Education and Nutrition & Food Science lessons, maintain kitchen cleanliness and equipment, manage stock and records, and support lesson schedules efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and materials to support Food & Consumer Education (FCE) and Nutrition & Food Science (NFS) lessons
• Portion and distribute ingredients accurately according to lesson requirements
• Purchase and order ingredients, verifying deliveries against orders for accuracy
• Clean and maintain kitchen workstations, sinks, stoves, refrigerators, utensils, and equipment to ensure hygiene and safety
• Maintain stock records and replenish supplies promptly to avoid shortages
• Assist with annual stock-taking and perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure functionality
• Keep accurate records of food purchase bills and prepare rooms according to class schedules

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum GCE O-Level qualification with basic Mathematics knowledge

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar working environment
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks under tight schedules
• Good communication skills and initiative

Other Information

Location: Paya Lebar Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 3.30pm
