AI Product Engineer (US Tech MNC, up to 20k)

About the company

• Adecco is partnering with a US tech MNC to look for an AI Product Engineer.
• Build and maintain scalable AI-powered internal tools, integrations, and data workflows that streamline operations, improve product evaluation, and enable teams to work more efficiently through reliable, self-service solutions.
• The role will start out as a contract

Your tasks

• Work with stakeholders to identify user needs, define requirements, and develop suitable technical solutions.
• Build and maintain internal applications, APIs, integrations, and data workflows.
• Convert prototypes and manual processes into scalable, reusable tools.
• Develop evaluation frameworks and feedback loops to improve AI-powered products.
• Apply engineering best practices, including testing, monitoring, error handling, and system reliability.
• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly, validating generated code and outputs.
• Measure adoption, quality, productivity gains, and reductions in manual effort.
• Create documentation and onboarding resources to support independent usage.
• Manage multiple technical projects while balancing impact, complexity, and resources.

Requirements

The Talent

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in software engineering, product engineering, ML engineering, or technical solutions development.
• Proven ability to independently deliver technical products from problem discovery through launch and iteration.
• Proficiency in a general-purpose programming language such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C++.
• Experience with APIs, backend services, data workflows, or full-stack development.
• Strong knowledge of production engineering practices, including testing, observability, and error handling.
• Ability to use metrics to evaluate results and communicate technical decisions to diverse stakeholders.

Good to have

• Experience developing AI/ML applications, evaluation systems, or agentic workflows.
• Experience building internal tools, developer platforms, and self-service solutions.
• Strong product judgment and the ability to translate user feedback into engineering improvements.
• Experience using AI coding tools or LLM-based systems to improve productivity and streamline operations.
• Familiarity with version control, code reviews, automated testing, and engineering documentation.
• Understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality evaluation.
