International Automation Engineer M/F

LHH Recruitment Solutions, a consulting firm specializing in recruitment, interim management, and expert assessment, is supporting one of its clients in the recruitment of their future Automation Engineer M/F on a permanent contract (CDI).

As part of a replacement, our client is looking for an Automation Engineer who will become the technical automation reference within the company. You will join a structure recognized for its expertise in the design of special machines and participate in ambitious technical projects intended for international clients.

Reporting to the Design Office, you will work in close collaboration with two technicians/automation engineers and will intervene across the entire development cycle of automated solutions.

Your main missions:

• Analyze client specifications and internal needs
• Design and develop automation architectures adapted to projects
• Program and fine-tune industrial PLCs
• Define interfaces between developed equipment and third-party systems
• Perform trials, tests, and validations of installations
• Participate in commissioning and technical interventions at client sites
• Provide your technical expertise and support teams on automation issues
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of equipment and innovation projects
• Ensure technological monitoring to propose new solutions

With higher education in automation, industrial computing, or electrical engineering, you have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role within an industrial environment. Experience in the field of special machines will be particularly appreciated.

Ideally, you master:

• Siemens PLCs (highly preferred)
• Schneider PLCs
• Industrial automation systems
• Networks and fieldbuses
• Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI)
• Industrial computing environments
• Your level of English allows you to communicate with international clients and partners during travel and commissioning.

Travel:

• This position includes approximately 20% international travel
• Missions generally lasting between 2 and 5 days
• Occasional travel as part of after-sales service (SAV) may require certain reactivity
