Then this position might be your next challenge. Within the Home Textiles segment, you will actively search for new opportunities in the world of home and household textiles. You will analyze suppliers, products, and prices, follow the latest trends, and support the purchasing team in assembling attractive collections that respond to the needs of our customers.

This position offers a unique combination of sourcing, product analysis, purchasing support, and collection development, where your research and insights contribute directly to the growth of our Home Textiles activities.

Your responsibilities:

Sourcing & Product Research

• Actively searching for new suppliers and manufacturers within the home textiles and household textile sector.
• Analyzing catalogs, collections, and product ranges.
• Detecting products with the greatest commercial potential.
• Following market trends, new materials, techniques, colors, and patterns.
• Building and maintaining an organized supplier and product database.

Analysis & Comparison of Supplier Quotations

• Centralizing quotations, price lists, and product information.
• Comparing suppliers based on price, quality, composition, and specifications.
• Developing comparative analyses and price matrices.
• Investigating price differences and identifying optimization opportunities.

Support in Collection Development

• Analyzing supplier catalogs in function of new collections.
• Matching seasonal needs with available products.
• Preparing product selections for new collections.
• Identifying products that can strengthen existing collections.
• Developing presentations and decision documents for the purchasing team.

Supplier Follow-up

• Following up on price requests and quotations.
• Maintaining contact with suppliers for additional information.
• Following up on swatches, samples, and deliveries.
• Supporting the purchasing team with daily sourcing activities.

We are looking for a colleague who:

• Works in a very organized and accurate manner.
• Is strong in Excel (including SUMIF, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and analyses).
• Possesses strong analytical thinking skills.
• Has an affinity for products, materials, design, interior, and home textiles.
• Can compare, interpret, and structure data from various sources.
• Is curious about new trends within the Home Textiles market.
• Conducts independent research and proactively proposes alternatives.
• Communicates smoothly with suppliers.
• Can work professionally in English.
• Has experience in purchasing, sourcing, or product management (a plus).
