Laboratory Associate

Your tasks

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests according to standard procedures
• Work with pH meters, viscometers, colorimeters, spectrophotometers, ovens and incubators
• Test enzyme activity in finished products
• Sample incoming laboratory materials
• Carry out wash tests on fabric samples
• Collect water, air, equipment swab, environmental and raw-material samples
• Prepare product batches for different departments
• Calibrate equipment and replace Millipore filters
• Register ICE tickets and maintain accurate laboratory data
• Help improve procedures and workflows
• Follow quality and safety procedures with care and consistency

Requirements

You have an A2 qualification in Sciences/Chemistry or relevant laboratory experience, and you are comfortable communicating in English. Has an eye for detail Takes quality seriously Enjoys practical laboratory work Is comfortable with Microsoft Office Follows procedures while looking for opportunities to improve the way things are done
