Industrial Purchasing Manager (M/F)

Job Description:

Adecco is recruiting for its client, a recognized industrial player in its market, an Industrial Buyer (M/F) as part of the development of its Purchasing department.

Your Mission

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager and collaborating with internal teams (Production, Quality, R&D, etc.), you will ensure the management and development of your supplier portfolio in order to meet cost, quality, and deadline objectives.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for managing supplier performance and continuous improvement processes.

• Develop and manage the supplier panel (sourcing, qualification, optimization). Conduct evaluations and participate in supplier audits.
• Negotiate and manage supplier contracts.
• Identify and anticipate risks related to your portfolio.
• Collaborate with the various departments of the company within the framework of ongoing projects.
• Ensure market intelligence and monitoring of the supplier market.

Profile Description:

With higher education in purchasing or a technical field, you have proven successful experience in a purchasing role within an industrial environment.

Ideally, you possess knowledge in technical sectors such as metallurgy, plastics, or electronics. You master negotiation techniques and are comfortable managing supplier relationships.

Your rigor, autonomy, and ability to work in a team will be essential assets for success in this position.

Proficiency in professional English is indispensable in order to communicate with international suppliers. Occasional travel abroad is to be expected.
