Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f) (M/F)
LHH is recruiting on behalf of its client, a globally known and recognized company, a Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f) on a permanent contract (CDI) to join its teams based in Cestas (33610). A specialty in electrical / electronics is a prerequisite for this position.
Our client, a key player and leader in its sector, values innovation and collaboration. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will guarantee the compliance of supplier processes for purchased products and services, and contribute to the performance improvement of the supplier panel. You will be responsible for the validation of the first production part and will ensure the quality interface between suppliers and the various departments of the company.
In this capacity, your main missions will be:
Improvement of the supplier panel:
- Guarantee the manufacturing and control processes implemented at suppliers, while auditing them regularly to ensure compliance with the specifications and procedures put in place,
- Write audit reports and manage the associated action plans, write industrial validation files related to the qualification of an item,
- Validate the item/supplier pair (resource / need adequacy),
- Evaluate, coordinate, and manage the corrective and preventive actions implemented at suppliers, regularly follow up on these action plans with suppliers and validate their effectiveness,
- Participate in the evaluation of the quality performance of the supplier base with the purchasing and logistics departments,
- Maintenance of the tooling base at suppliers, updating supplier quality dashboards,
Improvement of products and service efficiency:
- Initiate modification requests on products,
- Participate in the sensitivity and maturity review phases of new machines,
- Participate in the improvement of specifications and requirements provided to suppliers,
- Actively participate in achieving team objectives in close collaboration with buyers and the product quality department, all within a global quality approach,
- Lead and/or participate in working groups (problem solving, AMDEC, value analysis, experimental design).
Holding a Master's degree (BAC +5) such as electrical engineer or electronics engineer, you have a proven experience of at least 5 years in one or more similar positions, ideally acquired in the industrial field.

- Design basics: tolerancing and process limits,
- Knowledge of materials and the main transformation processes (mechanical: machining and micromechanics/foundry/extrusion) to understand all issues,
- ISO9001 quality standard
- Audit approach and associated techniques,
- Continuous improvement (Lean Manufacturing),
- Knowledge of different problem-solving tools (5M/3P analysis, 8D, DMAIC method),
- Mastery of different quality control methods (tools and rules).
A good level of English is necessary for this position. Occasional travel in France and Europe is to be expected.
