Materials Engineer (m/f) (M/F)

Within a company in the plastic packaging manufacturing sector, you will contribute to securing and improving studies related to material changes.
At the heart of demanding technical missions, you will participate in the evolution of material expertise and the reliability of study programs. Your contribution supports project and operational teams, ensuring that decisions are based on solid, traceable, and actionable elements.
Your role consists of:
- Establishing study programs, then ensuring their update and implementation
- Developing innovative materials and consolidating formulation choices, in line with technical objectives
- Mobilizing in-depth knowledge in formulation and characterization to analyze properties and processes, and to formulate appropriate recommendations
- Providing technical support to the relevant teams to facilitate the understanding and application of results
- Writing protocols and reports as part of studies related to material changes, to guarantee documentary quality
This position is intended for a person comfortable in technical environments, structured in following studies, and attentive to the quality of documentation. You enjoy investigating, comparing data, and transforming test results into concrete recommendations for field teams. A first experience in the field of materials has already taught you how to meet deadlines and work methodically within an industrial framework. You hold a Materials Engineering degree or a Master 2 in the field of materials and have experience in activities close to materials development or analysis. You are ready to work in English for exchanges and project documentation.
Behavioral Skills On a daily basis, your rigor and organizational skills allow you to lead study programs without losing track. You also know how to demonstrate pedagogy to support teams through clear explanations and well-structured deliverables.
Technical Skills You know how to establish and manage study programs, ensuring their consistency from end to end, from preparation to reporting. You master the development and exploitation of materials knowledge: formulation, characterization, understanding of properties and processes, and then the formulation of recommendations. You know how to produce reliable protocols and reports, adapted to material changes, with a reproducible working method. You are capable of providing technical support to teams to make results actionable.
