LHH Recruitment Solutions, a recruitment consulting firm, specialized temporary staffing, transition management, and expert, executive, and manager evaluation, is searching for its client, a major player in the industrial sector, for a temporary position: a Buyer (m/f).

Your mission. Within a demanding industrial environment, you are responsible for the acquisition of goods and services necessary for the proper functioning of the company, while respecting cost, quality, and deadline objectives. Acting as a true interface between suppliers and internal teams, you contribute to the overall performance of the supply chain and actively participate in the optimization of purchasing.

Your main responsibilities.

• Collect and formalize the needs of different departments for series products and new developments.
• Select, consult, and support suppliers in order to build a panel that meets technical, quality, productivity, and safety requirements.
• Participate in industrialization projects, new product launches, and product modifications.
• Ensure the update of purchasing data in the ERP: prices, lead times, supplier conditions, and associated information.
• Optimize the purchasing and procurement process, from the expression of need to supplier payment.
• Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of supplier performance.
• Manage supplier disputes and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Identify and develop levers for cost reduction and productivity improvement.
• Carry out sourcing actions to anticipate project needs.
• Secure supplies by anticipating capacity, industrial, and project milestone-related risks.
• Work in collaboration with Supplier Quality teams as part of the validation of tooling and first series.

You have significant experience in a similar role within an industrial environment. You notably possess:

• Strong supplier negotiation skills.
• Good mastery of purchasing and procurement processes.
• Knowledge of quality, technical, and industrial constraints.
• Mastery of office tools and an ERP.
• Professional English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to analyze contracts and identify associated risks.
