Who are we looking for?

Addvor is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior UK University Admission Counsellor.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in recruiting students for universities in the UK. Applicants must be located within a 45-minute commute of our office in Iikeja nigeria.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalised education counselling to students, helping them identify suitable courses, universities, and study destinations.
• Offer specialised guidance for students facing challenges, such as course changes, academic progression issues, or financial constraints, among others.

• Develop relationships with universities, colleges, and other education providers globally.
• Proactively identify opportunities for new partnerships and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements with universities and other educational institutions.

• Represent the company at education fairs, webinars, and meetings with education providers.
• Stay up-to-date on international education trends, visa policy updates, and market opportunities.

• Collaborate with the admissions team to ensure seamless processing of student applications.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in education counselling and student recruitment for UK universities.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong knowledge of international education systems, visa pathways, and particularly UK visa regulations.

• Analytical skills to assess student profiles and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken); multilingualism is highly preferred.

• Experience in negotiating and managing institutional tie-ups is a plus.
