HR Intern
Brief Description & Role
The Human Resource Intern will support the HR & Admin Manager in the day-to-day delivery of key employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding and offboarding, learning and development, employee engagement, HR operations, and general administration.
Responsibilities
- Learning & Development: Support the implementation of learning and development initiatives, assist in identifying training needs and development plans, maintain training records, and track programme effectiveness to support employee and business growth.
- Onboarding & Exit Management: Coordinate onboarding activities and new hire orientation, support offboarding arrangements, conduct exit interviews, and facilitate employee clearance.
- Employee Engagement & Staff Recreation: Assist in planning and organising company-wide events, social and recreational activities, festive celebrations, team-building programmes, and employee welfare initiatives.
- HR Administration & Operations: Provide general HR and administrative support, including maintaining employee records, preparing documentation, coordinating office supplies, and supporting facilities-related matters.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Skills, Experiences & Knowledge
- Meticulous, organised, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrates sound judgement and maintains strict confidentiality when handling employee information and organisational matters.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, vendors, and other stakeholders.
