WHO ARE WE? ITAB Shop Concept sells, develops, manufactures, and installs complete shop concepts for retail chains. We offer customer-unique concept interiors, innovative solutions for the checkout line, and professional lighting systems, and as part of further developing the shopping experience, we have developed a unified digital solution for the physical store.
Among our customers are the leading players in most of Europe. The business is based on long-term business relationships and delivery reliability, combined with efficient production resources. ITAB is today a market leader in checkout counters for retail in Europe, and one of Europe's largest suppliers of shop fittings and lighting systems.
We operate in around 30 countries, have around 20 production facilities in Europe and China, and several partners in large parts of Europe. Through close cooperation with the customer, we add experience and competence to the customer's specific needs and wishes.

Our main mission consists of the design, construction, and manufacturing of manned checkout counters as well as checkout counters intended for self-checkout. The manufacturing of our products takes place mainly through sheet metal processing and assembly in our own factory, at the same address where the development team and other operations are located.
In your position as a designer with us, you will get to work broadly within mechanical development, such as production adaptations and customer adaptations of existing products, or the development and creation of new products and concepts. Are you creative and interested in design? Good! To maintain our strong position in the market, we focus heavily on design, efficiency, and ergonomics in our products.
The work takes place in close cooperation with colleagues – both within your own department but also other departments within the company. We work with Autodesk's product portfolio as a CAD platform, and in the business system Jeeves.
THIS IS YOU. We are looking for you who wants to join the gang! You should like to engage both with customers and with your team. As a person, you are unpretentious and flexible, as the work can involve several practical moments where you yourself carry out actions. Are you also a "doer" who likes to have control in the form of structure, then you are just right for us!
THIS IS WHAT YOU CAN DO. You have a trained background in, for example, mechanical engineering, preferably with experience in design. Good knowledge of CAD software is a prerequisite, and you are well-versed in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF). If you are a frequent user of the business system Jeeves, we will be extra happy. Good ability to handle English in speech and writing, but also other European languages are of interest to us.
