IT Project Manager within IT/OT
Start date: October End date: Option for extension Scope: 100% Location: Stockholm / hybrid Assignment Description Our client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate IT-related activities in connection with new digital and technical facilities being brought into the production environment. The assignment is carried out in a complex and mission-critical environment where IT, OT, technical systems, operations, and management need to function together. The role constitutes an important link between technical projects, the IT organization, and the business. The consultant is responsible for identifying needs and dependencies, creating structure for the implementation, and ensuring that affected systems, processes, resources, and competencies are prepared for production deployment. The work involves many contact surfaces and close collaboration with, among others, business representatives, technical specialists, architects, finance functions, management, operations and maintenance organizations, as well as external suppliers and system integrators. Several projects and initiatives may be driven in parallel. Examples of tasks: Lead and coordinate IT/OT-related activities prior to the production deployment of new digital facilities.
Identify technical needs, dependencies, risks, and necessary preparations together with relevant business and technical teams.
Coordinate the impact on systems, services, processes, resources, and competence within the IT and management organization.
Structure the collaboration between IT, OT, operations, maintenance, business, and external technical suppliers.
Drive several parallel implementations as well as follow up on schedules, activities, and deliveries.
Report status, deviations, and the need for actions to relevant stakeholders and decision-makers.
Requirements Several years of experience as an IT Project Manager.
Several years of experience leading IT/OT-related projects within asset management, for example within infrastructure, facilities, industry, or real estate.
Experience from at least two assignments where one has led change management during the implementation of new systems or working methods in environments where IT and OT systems are affected.
Experience from at least two assignments with active leadership and coordination between internal technical and business functions as well as external suppliers or system integrators.
At least three years of documented experience from complex system environments where several real-time and/or OT systems are integrated for mission-critical processes.
At least one previous assignment where the consultant has worked professionally in English, both spoken and written.
Meritorious Experience from at least two assignments involving procurement according to public procurement regulations.
Practical experience in at least two areas within digital asset management, for example EAM/CMMS, GIS integrations, sensor/IoT solutions, or data and information governance.
Experience from the public sector.
