Forklift and Heavy Machinery Maintenance Technician - Mon to Fri 8 to 17 hs/Availability to travel

Important company dedicated to the sale and rental of machinery and platforms for work at heights is looking to incorporate a MAINTENANCE TECHNICAL OPERATOR.

We are looking for a person with verifiable and mandatory experience in the maintenance and repair of forklifts, heavy machinery, or similar equipment.

IMPORTANT: The position requires real experience in the repair and maintenance of these equipments. Profiles whose experience is limited solely to the operation or handling of forklifts will not be considered.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of forklifts, platforms, and heavy machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and perform the corresponding repairs.
• Perform maintenance and repair of owned and outsourced equipment.
• Intervene in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and/or electromechanical systems of the equipment.
• Perform technical services at the company's facilities and at construction sites.
• Attend to operational emergencies and perform urgent repairs on-site.
• Travel to other provinces when the service requires it.
• Record the work performed and keep the technical supervisor informed about the status of the equipment.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• Verifiable experience of at least 1/2 years in maintenance and repair of forklifts, heavy machinery, or related equipment.
• Specific experience in forklifts, elevating platforms, cranes, telescopic handlers, road machinery, agricultural machinery, or similar equipment will be valued.
• Solid knowledge in mechanics and/or electromechanics.
• Knowledge in engines, hydraulics, and electricity/electronics applied to machinery.
• Completed secondary school, preferably technical.
• Valid Type B driver's license.
• Own mobility.
• PC handling and management systems / Office package.
• Intermediate technical English, mainly for reading manuals, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Availability to work overtime and travel to other provinces.

We are oriented towards people with autonomy, diagnostic and problem-solving capacity, good communication, and service orientation. It is fundamental to have the capacity to work independently, perform diagnostics, and resolve equipment failures, both in the workshop and on-site.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00 hs. Availability: Overtime and travel to other provinces as needed.
