CNC Machinist

Job Description: Set up and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision engineering components. Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Create, modify and optimize CNC programmer for machining operations. Perform tool selection, tool setting and machine adjustments. Carry out in-process inspection and ensure machined parts meet the required specifications. Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machines. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Follow production schedules, quality requirements and company procedures. Requirements: Relevant experience in CNC machining and programming. Able to read and understand engineering drawings. Knowledge of CNC milling machines and machining processes. Experience with CNC programming software such as Mastercam will be an advantage. Able to use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and micrometers. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Willing to work overtime when required. Relevant technical qualifications or certifications will be an advantage.
