Job Summary
Lead and manage fire protection system installation projects, coordinating teams and stakeholders to deliver compliant, high-quality solutions from concept through completion for world-class clients.
Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and manage a team of supervisors to implement fire protection system installations across all project phases including concept, design development, contract documentation, authority submissions, site management, testing, and commissioning
- Supervise on-site work and coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors, site supervisors, foremen, and workers to ensure smooth project execution
- Attend and contribute to meetings with owners, consultants, and main contractors to align project operations and coordination
- Report project progress and issues directly to the Project Director to support overall project management
- Apply technical knowledge to support installation and compliance of fire alarm, sprinkler, hosereel, hydrant, rising main, emergency communication, and gas systems
- Manage project timelines and resources to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Foster effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal collaboration among project teams and stakeholders
- Demonstrate proactive problem-solving and self-motivation to drive project success and continuous learning
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Possess a Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Post Graduate Diploma in Engineering or equivalent, preferably in Electrical/Electronic, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering
- 1-3 years of relevant working experience in fire protection or related engineering fields
- Strong technical fundamentals related to fire protection systems
- Proficient in English and computer literacy to support project documentation and communication
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Enthusiastic, fast learner with a proactive and independent work approach
